Something Fishy’s going on at the Library!
Next Thursday, July 14th at 10am children and adults of all ages are invited to come for Summer Reading fun at the Library. Len Harris, famous local fisherman and naturalist extraordinaire, will bring a photo array of various creatures that live in our beautiful outdoors. He might just show us a few things about casting for fish, too. Barbara Duke will also be on hand to create some fishy art prints with those attending. (yup, using real fish:) Reading records will be available for those who have been reading over the summer, to mark time spent with books.That is: reading, being read to, reading to someone else, or for the very young, just looking at the pictures. Every 2 hours spent with books earns a chance in the T-shirt drawing; and we’ll have the first one on Thursday.
